Halifax, Nova Scotia is a beautiful, modern Canadian city that is located on the eastern shore next to the Atlantic Ocean. This bustling port town of 360,000 boasts the second largest natural harbor in the world but there are numerous other scenic spots to be found. Halifax is centrally located and is in close proximity to Quebec, Montreal, and Boston. While most of the city is at sea level some areas are higher and the topography is varied.
